COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

We hope this finds you well.
In line with the State Presidents speech delivered on 23rd March 2020 enforcing a 21-day national lockdown, we have taken steps to ensure that we continue to operate as close to normal as is possible through the use of technology. Consequently, most of our employees will work from home as we have planned for our entire business operations to run remotely from Friday, 27 March 2020 and throughout the lockdown period.

We have taken measures, in mitigation of the effects of the lockdown, for our client facing team to be as accessible at almost close to full capacity.

Call Centres

Though the teams will be operating remotely, the call centre will remain operational with distributed calls. At the moment we do not envisage any glitches however these may not be ruled out completely. In the main, the following numbers will remain operational (insurance 24/7/365 whilst vehicle finance will only be available during weekdays working hours).

Mmela Suppliers and Subcontractors

Most of our Suppliers (including Underwriters, Banks, and Roadside Assistance) will also be working remotely and we have been informed that they will also strive to continue operating as normal as is possible.

Please note however that certain services affected by the lockdown may not be rendered.
